Bike parking in Burwood

I cycled down to Burwood a few days ago, to do my lunchtime errands. If they are discouraging cars, perhaps they are encouraging bike riders, and it would be easy to park my bike? The rubbish bin design is very handy, I managed to chain my bike to this bin. I hope noone tripped over the bike while I was away. Quite a busy spot.
